What this site stores, and how to say no.

Last updated: 2 September 2026

This page explains what cookies dmworkbench.com and app.dmworkbench.com use, what each one does, and how to change your choices.

How consent works here

Optional cookies stay off until you turn them on. When you first visit, a banner asks. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy, and rejecting changes nothing about how the site works for you. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, and withdrawing consent deletes the cookies that were set.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and advertising cookies stay off.

We ask again every 12 months, or sooner if what we use cookies for changes.

Strictly necessary

These make the app work: signing in, security, and remembering your cookie choice. They're always on. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, so refusing cookies doesn't set one. This website sets no cookies of its own.

Name	Purpose	Duration
cc_session (app only)	Keeps you signed in	Until you sign out, or 30 days
cc_consent (local storage)	Remembers your cookie choice	12 months
cc-theme, cc-rail, cc-campaign (local storage, app only)	Remembers your light or dark theme, whether the palette is open, and the campaign you were last in	Until cleared

Analytics (off by default)

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages get used and which don't. Aggregate numbers only. Nothing loads and no request goes to Google until you opt in.

Name	Set by	Purpose	Duration
_ga	Google Analytics	Distinguishes visitors	2 years
_ga_*	Google Analytics	Keeps session state	2 years

Marketing (off by default)

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google advertising cookies, used to measure whether an ad led to a signup and to show relevant ads.

Name	Set by	Purpose	Duration
_fbp	Meta	Ad measurement	90 days
_gcl_au	Google Ads	Conversion measurement	90 days

Changing your choices

• Click "Cookie settings" in the footer to reopen the chooser.
• Withdrawing consent deletes the analytics and advertising cookies this site set and reloads the page.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in to the app.
